If you believe you have been treated unfairly by the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter, you are welcome and encouraged to file a grievance. We ask that you first make sure you have attempted resolution with the staff member with whom you worked, and with the shelter manager. If no resolution is possible, please file your grievance in writing and send it to:

A member of our grievance committee will review your information and contact you. Your issue will be handled in a timely and professional manner.
Our business is an emotional one, both for customers and staff. When you see the things we see on a daily basis, there are bound to be those rare circumstances where misunderstandings happen. Our goal is to always put the needs of the animal first, and sometimes that results in strife between staff and customer. We do our best to handle every situation calmly and compassionately. We treat our customers with respect, and we expect respect for the work we do in return.
